Born in Glasgow, Scotland as the daughter of an ex-pat Sally Steele has lived,studied, travelled & worked extensively in Europe, Asia & The Middle East before emigrating to Sydney, Australia in 2001. After graduating from University of St Andrews, Sally's early career saw her work in Japanese Market Analysis, Brand Direction and Trend Forecasting for Evian, The Body Shop & Calvin Klein. Once in Australia Sally developed her career in Marketing Communication, Events and Strategic Consultancy with clients across film, TV, fashion and lifestyle.
Sally has devised and executed over 150 film, lifestyle & event marketing, brand & comms campaigns and worked with some of the biggest Australian and global brands & organisations including Samsung, ABC TV, Tag Heuer, Event cinemas, Hopscotch, QT hotels, SunSoaked, Austereo, James Squire, Red Bull, Dendy Films, APSAs, BBC Worldwide, Blue Tongue Films, National Geographic Channel to name a few.
Her extensive experience has led her to be called upon for a broad spectrum of consultancy services across Marketing & Communications, Sponsorship & Branding, Media & Social Media management, Celebrity Partnerships, Community Engagement & Strategic Government Stakeholder Relationships.
Now Sally Steele makes her debut as an Australian Author with this unique self-love, style, self-help book.
After moving to Brisbane in 2010, Sally's styling and branding arm of the business has evolved into personal styling, mindset coaching, branding and self-love workshops and mentoring for women facing identity, career and business challenges.
In 2016, this Brisbane Personal Stylist set up #SpotMyStyle #realstreetstyle hashtags on instagram to celebrate individuality, beauty diversity, ageless style and happy self expression. The now global movement has surpassed 205k posts with women of all ages, styles, sizes, shapes and ethnicities involved.
